2ft tall Dorumon Amigurumi

Description

So, 5 days later, my largest Amigurumi commission is completed! I can't believe I just finished making a nearly 2ft long Arcanine, and quickly followed him up with an *exactly* 2 foot tall Dorumon!

This guy was a BEAST to make. Not exactly hard, but a bit tedious on certain parts: all the different "spikes/hair" details around his head, making his wings in multiple sections to have them actually LOOK like wings, and then his legs which were ALSO done in segments to get that digitigrade look of them. Over-all, though, he was a lot of fun and a great new adventure and challenge!

I did write down his pattern, so not only would I be able to make Dorumon again (I know my sister-in-law loves this Digimon, so at the very least I'd make one for her in the future), but it means I'm also able to make other similar shaped Digimon (ex: Agumon, Guilmon) or even certain Pokemon (Tyrantrum!?) so that's always good to have :)

Dorumon is also able to stand on his own if properly posed on his tail for balance, and tbh it's not that hard to do. All of his details are crocheted on, except for his eyes which are needle-felted. He is also void of any wiring in his legs, tail and wings, because his owner wanted him to be as cuddly as possible, which adds to why the only needle-felted details he has are his eyes.

Wow so cool... I do have to ask, as an aspiring crochet person HOW do you do digitigrade legs? Especially on smaller plushes.
