Emmigosa Size

It's finally tiiiiiimeee!!! I know I've been hinting at her for a while now, but I did have to set her aside at 90% completion to fill orders. Customers first! I finally got the chance to finish her this weekend (seriously, all that was left to do were her eyes and wings. that was it) and here she is!!

Emmigosa is, in my opinion, life-size when compared to my main character in WoW. My troll can't just hold her like I did in one of my photos, but you can get a good idea of the sizes (hopefully) from the screenshot and the photos I took. Emmi measures 14in tall with a 11in windpsan.

Everything on Emmi is crocheted, except for her eyes which are needle-felted, and her nostrils and mouth which are stitched on.

Honestly, I fucking adore her. She turned out beyond my highest hopes and I love her. She is my stepping stone to making more of the Warcraft dragons (Deathwing, Alexstraza, Ysera and Tarecgosa to start) and she means so much to me. I chose Emmi over the other Whelpling pets for a few reasons; 1) her design is simple, which meant I could design my pattern that could easily be tweaked for other dragons, 2) she's one of the newer Whelpling models, which I preferred, and 3) I just had a fondness for her ever since doing the quest chain to get her.

Now, despite all my love for her that I just expressed, I DO plan to list her as ready-to-ship. I know, crazy right? Well, I want her to find a good home, because we really don't have a lot of space for me to keep a lot of my designs (as much as I really want to), and I am going to be super selfish and plan to keep one of the future dragons I make (most likely Deathwing or Ysera) and again, we just don't have the space for me to keep TWO foot-tall Dragon Whelplings  

I'll announce her listing day sometime this week, as I usually do, so keep an eye out
